South African-born Sam Loggie
studied Fine Art at Johannesburg School of the Arts
before settling in the UK. Her distinctive style of
sculpture has been inspired by the classic realism of
the Italian Renaissance and the dynamic strength and
beauty of Rodin's work.
Sam specialises in strong male and female nude studies
and life-size portraits, in terracotta clay and bronze.
She has studied figurative sculpture at The Slade in
London, and teaches sculpture to pre-school children
as part of an Arts Therapy programme.
Sam has her own website, www.samloggie.com
